Through this exhibition, Galerie Atiss Dakar wished to explore the different
motivations of two artists – Elolo Bosoka and Serigne Mbaye Camara – from
different countries and generations but with similar practices. To bring them
together in order to underline the “resonances” between their artistic
approaches.
What motivates these artists? Necessity for lack of means, a position of
revolt and anti-conformist or a traditional recovery of any kind of material
whatsoever?
